Fechtschule Sankt Peter

Andrew Brew founded Stoccata in 1998 along with Stephen Hand, and in 2005 formed the Fechtschule Sankt Peter as a branch of the school dedicated to the study of the fighting arts of medieval Germany. The core curriculum is based on the system codified in the fourteenth century by Johannes Liechtenauer, and is drawn from commentaries on Liechtenauer's work dating from that and the following century.
The second weapon system taught is that of the Polish sabre. Content is drawn from the only historical sabre text that exists in the Polish language, the memoirs of Michal Starzewski.
